Our Body Art Tattoo Apprenticeship Program is designed for aspiring tattoo artists who want structured education, hands-on experience, and a professional portfolio to begin their career.
Students will develop the technical knowledge, artistic skills, and safety standards required to begin a career in body art tattooing while working toward New Jersey apprenticeship requirements.
Each student will complete 10 professional tattoo pieces to build a portfolio that showcases their progress and technical ability.
Students who wish to pursue a career in body art tattooing will receive an Apprenticeship Hours Letter documenting the hours completed in this program. These hours may be applied toward New Jersey's 2,000-hour body art tattoo apprenticeship requirement, helping students continue their path toward licensure.
